Body Politics:

The Source Of McCain's Odd Body Language, And The Gift It Brings

"
The only real solution to fear is to let yourself acknowledge it and feel it until it dissipates. Fear is natural. Your body spent hundreds of thousands of years perfecting it. It's there to tell you important things like these:
There's a potential threat--pay attention.
There's a problem I don't have a solution to--look for one quick!
"

"
What happens when you let yourself feel your fear is that it opens up a direct connection to your creativity. The more you're willing to open up and embrace your fear, the more creativity flows through you. We would never have believed that remarkable fact until we experienced the truth of it ourselves and saw it work its magic on many other people.
"

"
The gift fear brings is the opportunity to love it and thereby grow our capacity for love and creativity. Sometimes our fears get so great that love is the only thing that will put those fears to rest. We all need to become experts at dealing with fear right now. We need to let ourselves feel our fears in a spirit of loving acceptance, so that our willingness to embrace our fears opens the floodgates of creativity that we will need to solve the problems we all face.

Audrey Mestre, World Champion Free Diving Legend

I find out about this amazing woman while watching a documentary on National Geographic. Audrey Mestre, a record breaker in free diving was indeed one special lady. She was born on august 11th, 1974, in France, near Paris. Her grandfather introduce her what was to become a passion, a way of live : the sea.

1997 was the year when Audrey attempt her first free diving record. She manage to reach at a depth of 80 meters (deepest than any other women had reached before in free diving). In about 5 years of intensive training she break the 100 and after that the she surpass it reaching the depth of 130 meters.

2002 she try the unthinkable- to submerged at 170 meters breaking the previous world record set by her husband Francisco "Pepin" Ferreras. She reached this depth but, unfortunately a mall functioning of the diving equipment cause her to drown... Her death is shrouded in mistery, as she became a legend both in free diving and humanity's book of records. Her memory will live on, because of her continuous work , training and devotion/ for believing in her strengths and for her special achievements in the "Free Diving World".

Her family move to Mexico about the time she graduate high school. She study at the University of La Paz, California. She love the sea a lot finding in it consolation and companion in the years she was so far from the loved ones
Audrey don't dream to become a free diving champion, but because of her graduation thesis she make some research about a famous free diving champion - Francisco "Pepin" Ferreras who later became her husband. (...)

"As a tribute for Audrey , Francesco "Pepin Ferreras performed a single breath sive to a depth of 170 meters 9557.7 feet) which gave Audrey her World Record.By doing this alive Pepin join Audrey in the book of records as the deepest human being ever to reach that depth while holding his breath. Furthermore it is the first time in the history of sport when a couple hold the record together."
